Who we are

Handle It (handleit.ca) is operated by a licensed life insurance advisor based in Manitoba, Canada, currently practicing under the supervision required for advisors in their first year of licensing with the Insurance Council of Manitoba (ICM). By using this site, you agree to these terms.

What this site is

This site offers an informal quiz to help you get a general sense of where you stand on life insurance and estate planning basics, and a way to book a free call with a licensed advisor. It is a marketing and educational tool — it is not itself an insurance policy, application, or binding offer of coverage.

Not financial, legal, or professional advice

The quiz results, product suggestions, and price estimates shown on this site are general and illustrative only. They are based on the limited information you provide in a few quiz questions and are not a personalized recommendation, quote, or guarantee of eligibility, pricing, or coverage. Actual products, pricing, and eligibility are determined only after a full conversation and application process with a licensed advisor.

This site does not provide legal advice. Any mention of wills or estate planning refers you to third-party services (such as Willful.ca) — we are not a law firm and do not draft legal documents.

Licensing

Insurance products discussed or arranged through this site are offered by a licensed advisor operating under the applicable supervision and licensing requirements of the Insurance Council of Manitoba. Details about specific licensing can be provided on request.

No obligation

Taking the quiz and booking a call are both free and come with no obligation to purchase any product. You're always free to decline any recommendation made during or after your call.

Third-party services

This site links to and uses third-party tools, including Calendly for booking and Willful.ca as a referral for will-writing. We aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services — their own terms apply once you're using them.

Limitation of liability

This site and its quiz are provided "as is." While we aim for accuracy, we don't guarantee that quiz results, statistics, or estimates are error-free or apply to your specific situation. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for decisions made solely based on information from this site without a full conversation with a licensed advisor.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and applicable federal laws of Canada.
